Oct 31, 2009 I have a 2017 Macbook and though I don't know much about the specs, my experience playing sims is fairly decent. I can't play on the highest settings without lag but I can set the graphics to medium and play for hours just fine. I realllly want to download Sims 4 and I’ve been trying to research if it would work on my old 15″ Macbook Pro (Mid 2012) (no retina display) for me to even justify spending the money on it. I haven't had a personal computer for quite a long time, so i'm very excited to download and start playing the Sims once again. I've been doing research, and I've ultimately decided to purchase the Sims 3 starter pack inste.

I could not play Sims 3 in MacOS because the game kept crashing, and having sever graphical corruptions. Free online photo editing software for mac. When I started the game in Windows 10, it was playable, but still, I was really disappointed not being able to play the game on more than low-mid-settings.
But, I have learned by my mistakes. When playing Sims 3, the graphics card on your Mac/PC is essential for having a decent gaming-exerience. You may have 16GB of RAM, and an i7 processor, but if your graphics card is not compatible with Sims 3, then you'll not have a decent experience.

This summer, I will buy a max specd MacBook Pro 2017, I will try to remember your post and come back with some feedback from my experience playing the game (: I have no plans installing Windows on that one too though, I feel Windows is so slow compared with MacOS, at least on my Mac Mini.
